Garden Design

About Me

My love of gardens and gardening began as a hobby and has become my profession. During my 20 years of practical garden design and management of gardens, I have been inspired in many ways by gardens I have seen, plants I have encountered and people that I have met around the world.

My passion led me to the RHS, National Certificate and Diploma in Horticulture and onto my degree in Garden Art and Design. I continue to develop my own knowledge and to share my experience as I design gardens for people, teach horticulture at Leeds City College, exhibit at flower shows, judge the local garden competition as well as giving talks to local groups, such as the Paxton Horticultural Society, Adel & District Horticultural Society, Calverley Men's Forum, all of whom share my passion for plants and the space they inhabit.

To the portfolio of gardens that I have designed and created for people in meeting their dreams I also bring extensive experience as a project manager in different settings. As well as this I have a range of other professionals on whom I can call to meet specific needs for each individual garden.

Listening to what you want your garden to be is key for me. I want you to realise your dreams and have a garden that you can enjoy all year round. I see my role as adding the knowledge and experience that I have gained to ensure it is possible.
